The initiative aims to contribute to the fulfillment of Eskilstuna&#039;s climate goals, but also to raise the standard of the indoor climate and thereby achieve satisfied and well-being of staff, users and customers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of the properties within UPMEF located in the West is the Munktellarenan, and the following improvements have been made there,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The heating systems have been regulated, so that all spaces get the right temperature<\/li>\n<li>New ventilation units have been installed<\/li>\n<li>The ventilation has been regulated to obtain the correct air flows<\/li>\n<li>In the connecting corridor, electric radiators were replaced with water-based ones to reduce electricity use<\/li>\n<li>Entrance locks are rebuilt to minimize cold drafts<\/li>\n<li>Windows and window sections have been replaced, and in some parts of the arena, windows have been rebuilt on the inside with insulation and cover sheets to minimize energy loss<\/li>\n<li>Remaining existing windows are renovated on the outside<\/li>\n<li>The property&#039;s control system, which optimizes energy use while maintaining a good indoor climate and reads indoor temperature (heating and fan), was replaced<\/li>\n<li>Older energy-consuming pumps in heating systems were replaced with new energy-saving pumps<\/li>\n<li>The house was drawn up with updated A drawings as the house looks today<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inom ramen f\u00f6r projektet UPMEF s\u00e5 har en rad kommunala fastigheter i Eskilstuna rustats upp med huvudsyftet att spara energi men med ett tydligt fokus p\u00e5 helheten, d\u00e4r \u00e4ven mjuka parametrar s\u00e5som trivsel, v\u00e4lm\u00e5ende, s\u00e4kerhet och trygghet togs med i arbetet.
