Welcome to the energy breakfast at Energy Evolution Center!
Come have breakfast and listen to Karin Stolt, landscape architect at the strategic planning unit at the Eskilstuna Municipality Urban Planning Administration and project manager for the exciting project Urban Furnitures!
Urban Furnitures is an innovation project down to the smallest component where innovative energy research meets local commitment through exciting, strong-form design with recycled materials. A park in the Fröslunda district of Eskilstuna will receive a new addition to the environment in the spring of 2026 through a furniture pilot that is manufactured locally and designed with the help of young girls living in the district. The project will investigate and document how objects in the public environment can be self-sufficient in electricity for various functions that residents want from a place, but perhaps also produce energy in the future…
