The EU's rules for environmental claims in communication and marketing are now being tightened. For those caught, the consequences could be expensive, up to four percent of global annual turnover.
Swedish companies are already being punished for their environmental claims and other violations of what is considered good marketing practice. Not always with hefty fines as a result, but often with the risk of weakening the brand. Completely out of necessity. Too often there is evidence for the claim, but the rules require more than just a claim.
Using real-life examples, Richard goes through what good marketing practice actually requires of your communication, what the EU's new regulations (EmpCo) change from September 27, and how you communicate your solutions with both courage and confidence.
You are sitting on solutions the world needs — this morning is about getting them out without stepping on a wrong path.
Feel free to invite a colleague or customer who would benefit from these insights!
